MAHAM CES supplied and installed a hybrid solar power system at Maysan Maternity and Children’s Hospital to reduce reliance on the national grid and diesel generators and support reliable electricity for essential hospital services.

The installation comprises 1,000 bifacial solar panels, each rated at 595 W, a containerised hybrid inverter, and 70 lithium battery modules. The system combines solar generation with energy storage to support critical areas, including maternity wards, operating theatres, and elevators.

The works included installation of panel support structures, solar panels, inverter and battery equipment, cable trays, and AC/DC cabling, together with electrical control and protection systems. The project supports the hospital’s transition towards a more resilient and sustainable energy supply.
